Method of preparation


Mix half a tablespoon of ginger, half a tablespoon of cinnamon, 1/6 teaspoon of turmeric, and a pinch of cardamom together and pour 500 ml boiling hot water on it. Mix them well to create a solution; hot milk may also be added in it.
Add some honey for added taste. One may drink this tea throughout the day as many times as they want to for best results.

Note: Do not strain the spices away from the tea.

Health benefits of Ginger

Ginger has a beneficial effect on the digestive system. Phenolic compounds like gingerol help to stimulate saliva in the mouth and then bile and gastric juices in the stomach to improve digestion.
Ginger’s volatile oils have muscle relaxant properties which can help to ease bloating, spasms and cramps in the gastrointestinal tract.
